165/65 R14 Tyres

165/65 R14 is one of the highest-volume sizes in Pakistan. It is standard on several Honda City trims, on the Suzuki WagonR, and on imported Toyota Vitz and Passo variants — which means it is also one of the sizes where you have the widest genuine choice of brand and compound, from budget through to premium.

The 14-inch rim is the sweet spot for a small car here. Compared with 13-inch it gives you a noticeably better selection and a firmer, more planted feel; compared with 15-inch it keeps the sidewall tall enough (about 107 mm) that Islamabad's patched service roads and Rawalpindi's speed breakers do not punish the rim. It is a size that rewards buying slightly better than the minimum.

If your City or WagonR is mostly a city car, a touring compound is the right call — quieter, longer-lasting, and better in the wet, which is what actually matters between July and September. If you regularly run the motorway to Lahore or Peshawar, look at the higher speed ratings in this size; the difference in heat resistance at sustained 120 km/h is real.
