A tyre and alloy rim shop with a proper workshop behind the counter, at the I&T Centre in G-10/1 — and the lights stay on all night.
Who we are
Tyres, rims and the workshop to fit them
City Wheels sells new and used car tyres and alloy rims from Shop 4, 5 & 6 in Block 63 of the I&T Centre, on Street 35 off Bela Road in G-10/1, Islamabad. The showroom carries rims from 12 to 18 inches and tyres in the sizes Pakistani cars actually run.
Behind the counter is a full workshop: 3D computerised wheel alignment, computerised balancing, tyre fitting, puncture repair, alloy rim straightening and refurbishment, and nitrogen inflation. Buying a tyre and getting it fitted properly happen in the same place, by the same people.
We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A puncture at two in the morning is exactly when a tyre shop is worth something, so somebody answers the phone and the bay stays open.

How we work
Four rules we don't bend
The things that go wrong in this trade are nearly all avoidable. These are the ones we check every time.
Check the placard, not the old tyre
Before anything is fitted we read the specification on your driver's door. Cars are often running the wrong size or load rating because a previous owner bought on price — we would rather catch it than repeat it.
Measure before we adjust
Alignment readings are shown to you before and after. Rim offset and centre bore are measured against your car on the ramp. Wheels are torqued with a calibrated wrench, not run down with a rattle gun.
Repair properly or say no
Every puncture repair starts with the tyre off the rim so the inside can be inspected. Sidewall damage, a run-flat casing or a crack through a rim spoke gets a straight 'this is not safe to repair'.
Sell the right tyre, not the dearest
A car doing town mileage rarely needs a premium compound. We will tell you when mid-range is the sensible buy — and when a used tyre is fine, we'll show you its tread depth and DOT date.
