Frequently Asked Questions
Sizes, fitting, pricing, used tyres, delivery and payment — answered plainly.
Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes. City Wheels is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at the I&T Centre in G-10/1, Islamabad. You can drive in for a puncture repair, a tyre change or a wheel alignment at any hour. Calling 0333 3996060 first lets us confirm stock in your size before you set off.
Where is City Wheels located?
Shop # 4, 5 & 6, Block 63, I&T Centre, Street 35, Bela Road, G-10/1, Islamabad 44100. The shop is on Bela Road inside the I&T Centre, with the showroom and workshop together on site. See the contact page for directions.
Is fitting included when I buy tyres?
Yes. Mounting, computerised wheel balancing and setting the tyre pressures are included with every set of tyres we sell, new or used. If you bought tyres elsewhere we can still fit them — call for the current rate.
How do I find my tyre size?
Look at the sidewall of your current tyre for a code such as 205/55R16, or check the placard on the driver's door frame, which shows the size the manufacturer specified. If in doubt, send a photo of the sidewall on WhatsApp and we will confirm the right size, load index and speed rating. Our tyre size guide explains every number.
Do you sell used tyres, and are they safe?
We sell inspected used tyres alongside new ones. Every used tyre is checked inside and out, and we tell you its remaining tread depth and DOT manufacture date before you buy. We do not sell tyres that have been run flat, badly repaired or are too old. Browse used tyres.
Can I order online and pay cash on delivery?
Yes. You can order tyres, rims and accessories online and pay cash on delivery, or choose to collect and have them fitted at our G-10/1 workshop. We confirm every online order by phone before dispatch so we can double-check the size with you.
Do I need an appointment for alignment or balancing?
No appointment is needed — you can drive in at any time. If you would like a bay ready when you arrive, request a call back from the wheel alignment page or call ahead.
What payment methods do you accept at the shop?
At the counter we accept cash, card, EasyPaisa, JazzCash and bank transfer. Online orders can be paid cash on delivery. Every sale gets a printed receipt, which you should keep for any warranty claim.
Will your alloy rims fit my car?
A rim fits when its bolt pattern, offset and centre bore suit your car. Before fitting we check all three against your vehicle on the ramp, so you know it fits before you pay. Start with alloy rims or read how offset and bolt pattern work.
Should I replace all four tyres at once?
Replacing all four gives the most predictable handling. If you replace only two, replace them as a pair on the same axle and fit the new pair on the rear, whichever wheels drive the car — it is the standard safety practice, because losing grip at the rear is much harder to control.
Do you handle tyre warranty claims?
Yes. If a new tyre or rim you bought from us has a manufacturing defect, bring it with your receipt and we will inspect it and submit the claim to the manufacturer for you. Problems with our own fitting or repair work are fixed by us. See the warranty policy.
How much does a set of tyres cost?
It depends on the size, brand and whether you choose new or used. Tyre prices in Pakistan move with import costs, so the most reliable figure is today's quote: call or WhatsApp 0333 3996060 with your size and we will give you prices across budget, mid-range and premium options.
